Phragmipedium longifolium
This photo of a variegated Phrag. longifolium was taken by Mr. Giulio Farinelli from Italy.
Mr. Franco Bianco of Orchidee Rare in Italy selfed a nice Phrag. longifolium and sowed the seeds in 1999. In the
batch of seedlings one plant developed variegation in the leaves. A photo of this plant which is presented here was taken in 2001. The plant
had at that time a leaf span of about 15 to 20 cm.
